One of Deus' proving grounds, The Web extends from Level 227 through Level 240. Like similar test chambers, it does not cover the entire breadth of each floor. It is isolated from the surrounding spaces by heavily reinforced walls, ceilings, and floors. This reinforcement is primarily in the form of Leech constructs, which also serve to keep any test subjects capable of astral projection within the confines of the experimental environment.
The Web consists of a mix of cavernous open spaces and narrow twisting tunnels. All of them are covered in adhesive strings and patrolled by a variety of predatory arachnid creatures (some cybernetically enhanced) and drones: Work Spiders and Webspinners.
