Over the next fifteen years, he advanced from a petty criminal to a professional criminal facilitator. In some ways, it was a swift rise. Fortunately, his gregarious nature and inoffensive-to-humans appearance made it easy for him to dance between the various factions all along the Gulf Coast — New Orleans, Mobile, Tampa, and even Miami. | Over the next fifteen years, he advanced from a petty criminal to a professional criminal facilitator. However, he knew where the real money was: Seattle. Roughly five years ago, he transferred his operations into the UCAS' western frontier. While his street cred from his time in the CAS definitely earned him some preferential benefit, he's still a relatively new name in the shadowrun capitol of the world, but a name he's been living up to — Mister Gold. | However, he knew where the real money was: Seattle. Arthur is one of the unlucky whose identity was lost in the Crash of 2029, or more specifically, his mother's identity was lost — Arthur wasn't even two weeks old at the time. With no record of his birth parents, he was left an orphan. While infant orphans were swiftly adopted, orkish children of any age very rarely were, even the ones who didn't really look all that ork-like. He was turned over to an orphanage outside of Mobile, operated by a sect of Roman Catholic nuns.
Being in the care of the church didn't provide protection from the Night of Rage. The orphanage, with it's large metahuman population, was targeted by metaracist counter-protestors, and burned to the ground. Arthur escaped the blaze, but was left homeless on the street, where he fell in with a street gang. Despite being all of ten years old at the time, his orkish heritage combined with a lack of orkish features meant that he was able to fit in with a significantly older and significantly more human crowd.
Over the next fifteen years, he advanced from a petty criminal to a professional criminal facilitator. In some ways, it was a swift rise. Fortunately, his gregarious nature, keen insight, and inoffensive-to-humans appearance made it easy for him to dance between the various factions all along the Gulf Coast — New Orleans, Mobile, Tampa, and even Miami.
