  • Codeblock (Brute Force)[1] — Brute Force is almost always the inferior choice to Hack On The Fly, so this quality is basically points for free. Other versions of Codeblock are allowed.

Adjusted Qualities

  • Lazy Fingers[2] — A larger penalty on something that already has a large enough penalty you wouldn't regularly do it should not be worth free points. Characters with this quality may never use Brute Force or Hack On The Fly to gain multiple marks in a single action.

New Qualities

Deductive Defender

Cost: 3 Karma

Knowledge is power, and being able to deduce where exactly an attack is most likely to land can turn a deadly hit into a near miss. This quality allows the character to use their Logic in place of their Willpower attribute while using Full Defense.
