With the adjustments to Active Skills, Autosofts[1] need to change too. With a few exceptions, Autosofts cover an entire group from the Skill Chart. They provide the drone every skill in the group equal to the Autosoft's Rating. Drones are still limited to a number of onboard Autosofts equal to half their Device Rating, rounded up, and can not benefit from an Autosoft Rating higher than their Pilot Rating + 2.

Cost and Availability are as per Shadowrun Fifth Edition Core Rulebook (p. 442), but some autosofts are restricted or forbidden:

  • Restricted — Close Combat, Firearms, Projectile Weapons, Stealth
  • Forbidden — Military Science

There is no autosoft for the Prowess group, as drones use Driving Tests for related tasks. There are also no autosofts for any Social, Magical, Resonance Skills.
