Shadowrun Seattle Shutdown

With the adjustments to Active Skills, Autosofts[1] need to change too. With a few exceptions, Autosofts cover an entire group from the Skill Chart. They provide the drone every skill in the group equal to the Autosoft's Rating. Drones are still limited to a number of onboard Autosofts equal to half their Device Rating, rounded up, and can not benefit from an Autosoft Rating higher than their Pilot Rating.

Cost and Availiability are as per Shadowrun Fifth Edition Core Rulebook (p. 442), but some autosofts are restricted or forbidden.

  • Targeting Autosoft (R)— Firearms Group — Drones don't use the Gunnery skill for mounted weapons like a jumped-in rigger would.
  • Melee Autosoft (R)— Close Combat Group — Keep in mind that most drones are not equipped with appropriate weapons.
  • Launcher Autosoft (R)— Projectile Weapons Group
  • Infiltration Autosoft (R)— Stealth Group
  • Maneuver Autosoft — Driving Group — This autosoft is vehicle-specific. It doesn't matter if running directly on the drone, but it would for autosofts shared from a rigger command console.
  • Wilderness Autosoft — Outdoors Group
  • Combat Autosoft (F) — Military Science Group
  • Engineering Autosoft — Engineering Group
  • Computers Autosoft — Computers Group
  • Biotechnology — Biotechnology Group

There is no autosoft for the Prowess group, as drones use Driving Tests for related tasks. There are also no autosofts for any Social, Magical, Resonance Skills.
