This R:2 commlink[1] is distinguished from the bog-standard R:2 Sony Emperor[2] by marketing as "specially designed for underwater use". It is waterproof up to 100 meters and resistant to chemical intrusion. It integrates a Vectored Signal Filter[3] that provides it with two levels of Noise Reduction, but realistically does very little to combat the Noise[4] accrued by being underwater.

This specialty deck's description[5] claims it has a recording suite in it, but lists no special properties. It includes a Camera[6] (R:2) with Vision Enhancement[7] (R:2) and a Directional Microphone[8] (R:2) with Audio Enhancement[8] (R:2) with no change in cost.

This RCC is 2,000¥ more expensive than the Vulcan LeigelordShadowrun Fifth Edition Core Rulebook, but is otherwise completely identical as published. It is waterproof up to 100 meters, resistant to chemical intrusion, and integrates a 50m spool of micro-cable attached to an antenna buoy.
