Outside the SCIRE and months before the Shutdown begins, another group of shadowrunners takes a seemingly simple abduction job, only to be thrown into the middle of a scramble — multiple groups all seeking the same target.

Jury Selection
Tak receives a call from his and Zosimos' mutual fixer, Legate, inviting him to meet with a Johnson at Matchstick's. He puts the team together, and they gather at the smoky jazz club.
The team is offered 200,000¥ to abduct a "high profile individual" and turn him over alive to the Johnson. They go through the standard back and forth, eventually gaining a small percentage up front and a small increase to the back end.
Terms agreed, they learn who the target is: David Hague, Fuchi's representative on the Corporate Court. They immediately realize they probably could have asked for more, and likely would have gotten it. The Johnson provides his itinerary — he'll be arriving in two days time aboard Quantas Flight 1118, a suborbital departing Tokyo and landing at Sea-Tac International. arriving in two days he'll be aboard His trip in will be a Suborbital, he is going to Fuchi America's Corporate HQ.
David has two usual possibilities, knowing which is impossible, 3 Car convoy, security in two and himself and security Car. So 4-12 people depending cars.
Will be hitting on Highway, Zos will mind control guard to keep door open,Zos needs to get the guy to get in Hot spur, drive off and switch him to comet. Shiranui on Matrix duty/squelching.
Legwork:
No one is talking about David in Shadow community, so nothing big is going on.
Shiranui is on Jamming/Squelching duty.
Highway is best bet, most of his trip is Highway.
If car is stopped, security will get out.
Day of Run: At Airport, Shiranui sees all sorts of activity burst into motion, it takes a second to realize it is emergency vehicles. They are heading out onto the runway, lights turn off, they turn around and they blast pass Tak and there lights come back up further away. Shiranui picks up that flight 11-18 is an overshoot. Low and fast it flies over and fireballs somewhere in the east. Johnson then calls, wants us to go to crash site and recovery briefcase and or body.
